Introduction

Cenarius

The demigod Cenarius, Lord of the Forest.

Cenarius is a living demi-god who was extremely friendly to the Night Elves. Legend has it that he is the son of the White Stag Malorne and the Moon Goddess Elune. Like nature herself, Cenarius can be fearsome when angered, capable of summoning treants, sprouting thorns, and constricting roots, but he can also be a benevolent teacher and healer as well. Alive during the War of the Ancients, Cenarius saw the defeat of the legion. Since then, he has wandered the forests of Kalimdor, healing and protecting the land from corruption.

In game, Cenarius is extremely powerful. He is capable of overwhelming early armies with his summoned treants, and his thorns aura can be devastating late game. Thanks to his spell immunity, it is nearly impossible to stun him, or interrupt his Tranquility channeling. Despite having high hitpoints, Cenarius is extremely slow and has low armor, keep him at the back of your army, safe from ranged units and especially frontline melee at all times.
